Effective date: 13 April 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how TabSyncer ("we", "our", or "the extension") handles your information. We value your privacy and are committed to being transparent about our data practices.
TabSyncer does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), browsing history, or user activity. The extension operates entirely locally within your browser.
All tab sessions saved using TabSyncer are stored locally on your device using Chrome’s extension storage. We do not send, store, or transmit any session data to external servers.
Because TabSyncer does not collect or store your data externally, we do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.
The extension uses limited permissions (such as tabs
, storage
, and activeTab
) solely to fulfill its core functionality:
saving and restoring your current browser tabs. No data is used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
If you choose to add password protection to a session, the password is stored only in your local browser session and never transmitted. It is your responsibility to remember it, as we cannot retrieve it for you.
We may update this privacy policy if necessary. If we do, the updated date will be posted at the top of this page.
